Broadway Shows
Archive
Closed productions, past seasons, and every show guide kept live after closing night — theater information, seating, and what each production was like.
Past Broadway Productions — Why We Keep Them Live
Every show in this archive has its own page. The production-specific details — run dates, cast, opening night — are marked as closed. But the theater guide, seating breakdown, neighborhood context, pre-show dining recommendations, and transit information remains accurate and useful long after the final curtain.
If you’re trying to decide between seats at the Nederlander Theatre for an upcoming show, a past page from the same house tells you more than a diagram will. If you want to know what Schmigadoon! was actually like before you decide whether to see the touring production, the guide stays live. If you’re researching a specific production for any reason, the information is here and it doesn’t expire.
For currently running Broadway shows, see the Broadway shows hub. For shows that haven’t opened yet, see the Upcoming Broadway Shows guide.
How to use this archive
Each show page links to a full theater guide, seating breakdown, and neighborhood planning content for the area around that house. Use past show pages to research venues before booking future productions at the same theater — the Nederlander, the Majestic, the Nederlander’s sight lines don’t change between shows. See the Broadway theater guides for the full venue directory.

Long-Running Shows — Final Bows
Some Broadway shows run for years or decades before their final curtain. When a long-runner closes, it’s a different kind of end than a limited run — the show becomes part of Broadway history. The pages below cover productions that had multi-year runs before closing.
Still running? Check the current guide.
Long-running productions like Wicked, Hamilton, The Lion King, Chicago, and The Book of Mormon are still active on Broadway. For currently running shows, see the Broadway shows hub. For Tony Award history, see the Tony Award Winners 2026 guide.
