Ryan Castro Concert at Madison Square Garden: NYC Tickets & Guide
Richy is coming to the Garden. Ryan Castro’s first MSG headline show sold out in a day, so here’s how to read the ticket market now, where to sit, and how to run the night around Penn Station.
The Ryan Castro concert at Madison Square Garden is set for Saturday, December 12, 2026. It’s the only Ryan Castro New York date on the calendar, and it’s a different animal from his usual tour stop. This is the Los Chorros Con Richy Tour, built around the December alter ego he brings back every year, and it’s his first time headlining the Garden.
New York got the hint fast. Tickets went on general sale September 30 and Castro announced the arena was sold out within about 24 hours. That doesn’t mean the door is shut. It means the ticket hunt now runs mostly through resale and any inventory that shows up later, and the prices, rules and risks there work differently from a normal on-sale.
Below: what “sold out” actually means for this show, how to buy Ryan Castro tickets without paying for the wrong night, what different parts of the arena cost and are worth, the songs he’s been playing, and a Spanish-language buying guide for fans searching in español.

Is Ryan Castro Sold Out at Madison Square Garden?
The original on-sale sold out. Castro announced it himself on September 30, and Complex reported the 24-hour sellout on October 1. Tickets can still turn up after that, mostly as resale listings, so “sold out” here means the first wave is gone, not that every seat is off the market.
MSG and Miami’s Kaseya Center are announced together. Presale runs through Ticketmaster.
Castro posts that the Garden is completely sold out, roughly a day after tickets went live.
Complex covers it as his MSG headlining debut selling out in 24 hours.
The official MSG event page still carries a Buy Tickets link. What’s actually available changes day to day, so check live listings before assuming anything.
Why tickets still appear after a sellout
- Fans resell. Plans change, groups shrink, and some buyers always planned to flip. Those seats land on Ticketmaster’s fan resale and the big marketplaces.
- Holds get released. Arenas and promoters keep seats back for production, the artist’s team and sponsors. Some go on sale closer to the date once the stage layout is final.
- Premium inventory moves separately. VIP packages and premium seating can sit on their own track and don’t always sell at the same speed as standard seats.
- Seat maps shift. If the floor or side sections open up once production is set, new seats can appear. Nothing official says that will happen here, so treat it as possible, not promised.
What we won’t do is tell you the show is “no longer sold out” because listings exist, or that every listing is resale. Look at what the listing says it is, and judge the seat and the total price.
Ryan Castro Tickets for the December 12 MSG Show
Ryan Castro tickets for the Garden come from two places. The primary seller is Ticketmaster, which MSG’s official event page links to directly. Everything else is resale: Ticketmaster’s own fan-to-fan resale, plus the major marketplaces. The ticket finder on this page pulls live listings so you can compare sections side by side.
Make sure it’s the right Castro, the right city
Miami is not a second New York night. The Los Chorros Con Richy Tour has two December dates: MSG on Saturday, Dec 12, and Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday, Dec 19. Both are Saturdays with the same tour name, which makes it easy to grab the wrong one in a search result.
It’s Ryan, not Cristian. A few event aggregators have listed “Cristian Castro” at the Garden on December 12. The official MSG listing says Ryan Castro. If a listing shows the wrong name, skip it and buy from one that matches the official event.
Your pre-checkout checklist
Date and venue: Saturday, December 12, 2026 · Madison Square Garden, New York.
Section, row, seat: a listing should tell you where you’ll be. “Section TBD” or zone-only listings carry more uncertainty.
Ticket type: admission ticket, VIP package that includes a ticket, or an add-on that doesn’t. Read the fine print.
Delivery: MSG uses mobile tickets. Know how and when the ticket will reach your phone.
All-in price: compare the checkout total with fees, not the number on the listing.
Seat count: if you need seats together, confirm the listing sells them as a set.
Ryan Castro Resale Tickets: How to Buy Without Getting Burned
For a show that sold out in a day, resale is where most of the buying now happens. That’s normal and mostly fine, as long as you know what you’re paying for. A few things separate a smooth resale purchase from a bad night at the entrance.
Platform resale vs. strangers
Ticketmaster’s fan resale reissues the ticket into your account. Major marketplaces sell under their own buyer policies. A random seller in your DMs or a comment section has no policy at all. Stick with platforms that publish one.
Screenshots don’t scan
MSG runs on mobile tickets, and rotating barcodes mean a screenshot of someone else’s ticket usually won’t get you in. You want a proper transfer into your own account or app.
Delivery can lag
Some resale tickets aren’t transferable until closer to the show, so a listing might say delivery comes days before the concert. That can be normal. Note the promised delivery date and the platform’s policy if it doesn’t arrive.
Guarantees vary by site
Refund rules, cancellation handling and “valid ticket” guarantees are different on every marketplace. Read them before you buy, not after something goes wrong.
Resale red flags
- A seller asking for Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, gift cards or crypto. Those payments are very hard to claw back.
- “Great seats, cheap, DM me” posts that appear right after a sellout trends.
- A listing that won’t say which section you’re in, paired with a price far under everything else.
- A listing for a “Ryan Castro” show at MSG on any date other than December 12.
Compare the same seat in two places
The same section and row can be listed on more than one site at noticeably different all-in prices once fees land. If you’ve found seats you like, check one more platform before you pay. It takes two minutes and sometimes saves real money.

How Much Are Ryan Castro Tickets at MSG?
Ryan Castro ticket prices for December 12 depend on three things: where the seat is, whether you’re buying primary or resale, and how close it is to the show. When we checked on October 13, 2026, SeatGeek’s Ryan Castro page advertised MSG listings starting around $108. Treat that as a snapshot of the cheapest resale listing that day. It doesn’t tell you the section, and resale prices for a sold-out show move every week.
Ryan Castro ticket prices by section
| Area | Price tier | What you’re paying for |
|---|---|---|
| Floor (if sold for this show) | $$$$ | Closest to the stage and the most energy. Whether it’s seated or standing isn’t announced, so check the listing. |
| 100 Level, sides | $$$ | Raised view, close to the action, and a seat you can actually use. Often the best all-round seat in the building. |
| 100 Level, far end | $$–$$$ | Straight-on view of the full production, but farther away. Usually priced below the sides. |
| 200 Level, sides | $$ | Higher up, but the Garden’s upper bowl is steep and fairly close in. Strong value for a big production. |
| 200 Level, far end & upper rows | $ | Typically the entry point. You’re there for the crowd and the singalong more than the close-ups. |
| VIP & premium | $$$$+ | Packages and premium seating, when available. The price includes extras, so compare what you get, not just the number. |
Price tiers are relative guides based on how MSG concert pricing usually stacks up, not quotes. Always compare the final checkout total, since fees can change the order.
For a Richy show, the 200 Level sides are the sweet spot. This is a big singalong party night, and from up there you see the full stage and the whole crowd bouncing, usually for a fraction of floor prices.
Ryan Castro last-minute tickets
Can you wait? Maybe. Resale prices on sold-out shows sometimes soften in the final days as sellers who can’t go try to recover something, and they sometimes climb instead. There’s no reliable pattern for this one. If you need several seats together, a specific section, or you’re traveling in for the show, buying earlier removes the gamble. If you’re a solo local who’s flexible, watching prices in show week can work. Our guide to finding last-minute concert tickets walks through the timing.

Best Seats for Ryan Castro at Madison Square Garden
The stage layout for December 12 hasn’t been published, so don’t trust anyone naming one “best section” yet. A few things hold for almost any end-stage concert at the Garden, though.
Want to dance?
Floor, if it’s sold for this show. Check whether the listing says seated or general admission before you buy.
Want to see everything?
100 Level, side sections angled toward the stage. You get height over the floor crowd without much distance.
Want the best value?
200 Level sides, lower rows. The Garden’s upper bowl sits steeper and closer than most arenas.
Watch out for
Sections right beside or behind the stage, which can have side or partial views. A good listing says so.
For section numbers, sightlines and the Chase Bridge seats, use our full Madison Square Garden seating guide. It breaks down the arena section by section for concerts.
Ryan Castro VIP Tickets & Packages
The Ticketmaster listing has carried VIP package categories for this show, but neither MSG’s event page nor the tour announcement spells out what a December 12 package includes. Until those details are published for this specific date, we won’t guess at them.
For context only: on the Sendé The Last Dance tour earlier this fall, some venues sold VIP tiers ranging from a merch-and-laminate bundle up to meet-and-greet packages. That was a different tour. Don’t assume the MSG show offers the same tiers, or any meet-and-greet.
Before you pay for a VIP listing
- Does it include admission? Some upgrades and merch bundles require a separate concert ticket.
- What exactly is included? Look for a written list: seat location, merch, laminate, early entry, lounge access. If it’s not written down, don’t count on it.
- Is it the official package or a resold one? Resold VIP can lose items that were tied to the original buyer, so read the listing carefully.
- Premium seating is not the same thing. MSG’s premium seats and hospitality areas are a venue product, separate from any artist VIP package.
Los Chorros Con Richy Tour: Who Is Richy?
Every December, Ryan Castro brings back Richy, a festive alter ego built on old-school Colombian end-of-year party music: chucu chucu, tropical rhythms and the kind of songs that play at every family party in Antioquia. Since 2021 he has released December songs in that spirit, and the Los Chorros Con Richy Tour turns the idea into an arena show for Colombians and Latin fans in the U.S.
The show is styled after a paisa December party, with Antioquian touches like the carriel shoulder bag, sombrero, boots and aguardiente in its visuals. Think less “regular reggaetón set” and more holiday block party with a reggaetón star running it.
Ryan Castro’s December releases by year, as listed by Noticias RCN.
From the Palladium to the Garden
Castro has been climbing the New York map one room at a time. He sold out Palladium Times Square in 2023, Prudential Center in 2024 and Barclays Center in 2025, where more than 12,000 fans packed in. MSG is the next step up. Back home, he drew about 45,000 to Medellín’s Estadio Atanasio Girardot this spring and has El Campín in Bogotá on October 31. This year he also released Omerta, a full-length collaboration with J Balvin, and earned his first two Latin Grammy nominations, for “La Villa” and for Omerta as Best Urban Music Album.
Ryan Castro Tour 2026: Concerts & Tour Dates
If you’re searching for Ryan Castro tour dates, it helps to know there are two separate runs. Sendé The Last Dance was his 16-city North American tour, which ran from September 6 to October 10. The Richy shows are separate December holiday events. Here’s where the remaining 2026 dates stand:
Ryan Castro tour dates at a glance
| Date | City | Venue / Show |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 17 | Cali, Colombia | Rescheduled stadium date after the August earthquake |
| Oct 31 | Bogotá, Colombia | Estadio El Campín |
| Dec 12 | New York, NY | Madison Square Garden · Los Chorros Con Richy |
| Dec 19 | Miami, FL | Kaseya Center · Los Chorros Con Richy |
MSG is the only New York City date on the Richy run. There’s no second NYC night announced, and the Dec 19 show is in Miami.
Ryan Castro Setlist: What He Might Play at MSG
No setlist for the Richy show has been published, and a December holiday concept could change the song list a lot. Expect some of his December songs alongside the hits, but nobody outside his team knows the order yet. For reference, this is what he played at Miami Bash on May 30, 2026, per setlist.fm:
That was a short festival set. A full headline show runs longer, and the Richy theme may bring in his December songs listed above. We’ll update this section with the real MSG setlist after the show.
About guests: Castro has a history of surprise appearances. His Medellín stadium show brought out J Balvin, Maluma, Feid, Arcángel and Sean Paul, and J Balvin joined him at Barclays last year. None of that is a promise for MSG, and no guests have been announced.
Who is opening for Ryan Castro at MSG?
No opening act has been announced. The official MSG listing shows Ryan Castro only, with doors at 7:30 PM and the show at 8:30 PM. If a support act is added, it will appear on the MSG event page first. Until then, plan to be in your seat by 8:30.

Inside, the Garden has stands like Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Fuku and Paulie Gee’s Pizza if you’d rather eat at your seat. See our picks for restaurants near Madison Square Garden.
