Best Comedy Shows in NYC: Clubs, Tickets & Tonight’s Options
A packed Village basement, a sleek Chelsea showroom and a Brooklyn back room are three very different nights. Here is how to pick the right one, book it and know what the bill will really look like.
New York has more live comedy on a random Tuesday than most cities get in a month, and the rooms are not interchangeable. At Comedy Cellar you are knee-to-knee in a basement on MacDougal Street, phone locked in a pouch, watching five or six comics who may or may not include someone famous. At Gotham in Chelsea you get a proper showroom and a tighter evening. In Brooklyn, a comedy night might be a stand-up showcase, a live podcast taping or an improv set in the back of a bar.
This guide covers the comedy shows NYC visitors and locals actually book: which club fits which kind of night, how to find a show tonight, what drink minimums add to the bill, and how to fit a set around dinner or a Broadway show. Policies below were checked on each club’s own site in October 2026.

Comedy Shows Tonight in NYC: Where to Find Tickets
There is no single box office for NYC comedy. Every club runs its own calendar, and the fastest way to book a show tonight is to decide on a neighborhood first, then open that club’s calendar. We do not run a live feed on this page, so the links below go straight to the clubs and verified ticket listings, where open seats and times are current.
- Pick your neighborhood. Near Broadway: Comedy Village or Broadway Comedy Club. Downtown: Comedy Cellar, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, The Stand. Brooklyn: EastVille.
- Check early sets first. Weeknight 7 to 8 PM shows have the most open seats. Friday and Saturday prime times go first.
- Read the minimum before paying. Two drinks, two items or a dollar amount, plus tax and tip. It is on the show page.
- Sold out at the Cellar? Use the standby list. It opens one hour before showtime for the MacDougal Street room and two hours before for Village Underground and Fat Black Pussycat.
- Check the date on late shows. A 12:15 AM Comedy Cellar show is listed as the late show of the day you selected, not the next day.

Best Comedy Clubs in NYC: Which One Should You Choose?
No fake top-ten here. These are the clubs worth your night, sorted by what each one does best, with the rules you need before you book.
Comedy Cellar
The name everybody knows, and the reason is the format: short sets from a deep bench of working comics in rooms small enough that the back row is still close. The original room is the basement at 117 MacDougal Street. Village Underground is a bigger room around the corner at 130 West 3rd Street, in the same building as Fat Black Pussycat, which has its own smaller Bar and Lounge rooms. Your reservation is for one specific room, so check which one before you walk over.
- Minimum: two items per person: food, a drink or a bottle of water
- Ages: 21+ (exceptions for 18-year-olds with a parent only by request to the club)
- Phones: locked in pouches for the whole show
- Groups: max 8 at MacDougal Street, max 4 at Fat Black Pussycat
- Cover posted Oct 2026: $10 New Joke Night, $15 Mon–Wed, $18 Thu & Sun, $25 Fri–Sat

Gotham Comedy Club
Gotham at 208 West 23rd Street (between Seventh and Eighth Avenues) is a real showroom: a stage, good sightlines and a crowd that came for a show rather than a dare. It books both rotating showcases and billed headliners. It is also strict, which works in your favor when you show up on time.
- Minimum: two beverages per person
- Ages: 18+; valid ID needed to order alcohol
- Arrive: 30 minutes early with photo ID and the card used to buy
- Refunds: none; tickets are non-transferable, and unredeemed seats may be resold at showtime
- Subway: 23 St (C/E) or 23 St (1)
The Stand
The Stand at 116 East 16th Street is a Northern Italian taverna with a comedy club attached, a few blocks from Union Square. That makes it the simplest one-stop night on this list: eat upstairs, walk to your seat. A second room, The Stand West, operates in the Chelsea Market building at 407 West 15th Street.
- Tickets: only through The Stand’s website (its partner is Tixr) or at the venue. Resale and third-party tickets are not honored.
- Ages: 21+, or 16+ with a guardian
- Arrive: 30 minutes early and check in; seats may be released 15 minutes after showtime
- Subway: 14 St–Union Square (4/5/6/L/N/Q/R/W)
New York Comedy Club
Three Manhattan rooms under one name, which is handy, but read the address. The “Midtown” club is at 241 East 24th Street in Kips Bay, well over a mile from Times Square. The East Village room is at 85 East 4th Street and the Upper West Side room at 236 West 78th Street. It is also the most transparent about cost: a $20 showroom minimum per person, ordered from your seat, with NY tax and an 18% gratuity added automatically.
- Ages: 18+, or 16+ with an adult at the club’s discretion
- Seating: first come, first served by on-time check-in; doors open 30 minutes before
- Refunds: none, but you can ask in advance to move to a future show
- Deal worth knowing: select Monday and Thursday shows are free for military, active college students and recent Broadway ticketholders
Comedy Village & Broadway Comedy Club
Comedy Village at 352 West 44th Street is the closest club to the theaters on this list: two showrooms on a Hell’s Kitchen block west of Eighth Avenue, with shows every night. Broadway Comedy Club at 318 West 53rd Street runs an all-star stand-up showcase about a 10 to 15 minute walk north of the theater blocks. Both sell tickets through GetYourGuide, which shows open times and the cancellation terms before you pay.
- Broadway Comedy Club: two-drink minimum at the show, nonalcoholic drinks available; about 1.5 hours; listing says not suitable for children under 12
- Also at BCC: A+ Asian Comedy Night, a separately ticketed showcase
- Subway: 42 St–Port Authority (A/C/E) for Comedy Village; 50 St (C/E) for BCC
UCB Theatre
The Upright Citizens Brigade theater at 242 East 14th Street is not a stand-up club, and that is the point. Expect long-form improv, sketch and themed shows built from audience suggestions, often at lower ticket prices than a weekend club showcase. If your group has seen plenty of stand-up, this is the change of pace. Check UCB’s own calendar for the current lineup.
Comic Strip Live
A stand-up room on Second Avenue near 81st Street that has been running since 1975. It is the obvious pick if you are staying uptown and do not want to ride down to the Village. See Comic Strip Live shows →
Looking for Carolines or Dangerfield’s?
Both are closed. Carolines on Broadway shut its Times Square club at the end of 2022, and Dangerfield’s on the Upper East Side closed in 2020. For a club near Times Square today, look at Comedy Village or Broadway Comedy Club. Carolines’ founder still runs the New York Comedy Festival, covered below.
NYC Comedy by Neighborhood
Location matters more than people expect. A club 30 minutes away by subway changes your dinner plan, your arrival buffer and how you get home. With one night to spend, picking a comedy club Manhattan-side comes down to neighborhood first and lineup second. Here is how the main comedy pockets compare.
Comedy Clubs in Greenwich Village: Classic NYC Stand-Up
MacDougal Street is the closest thing New York has to a comedy row. Within a few blocks of Washington Square Park you have Comedy Cellar (117 MacDougal), Village Underground and Fat Black Pussycat (130 West 3rd), Greenwich Village Comedy Club (99 MacDougal, a basement room of about 60 seats with a few sightline-blocking pillars) and the Grisly Pear. The West 4th Street station (A/B/C/D/E/F/M) puts you two minutes from all of them.
Choosing between them: if you can get a Cellar reservation, take it. If it is sold out and you do not want to gamble on standby, Greenwich Village Comedy Club is an easier booking a block away, with tickets on GetYourGuide. Either way you are on the best street in the city for a late slice, a drink or a walk through the park afterward. Our Greenwich Village guide has the rest of the neighborhood.
Make it a double bill: the same blocks are the city’s jazz row. Blue Note at 131 West 3rd Street is around the corner from the Cellar, and the Village Vanguard and Smalls are a short walk west, so an early comedy set and a late jazz set fit in one night. See our jazz clubs NYC guide.

Comedy Clubs Near Times Square and Broadway
“Midtown” on a comedy ticket does not always mean near Times Square. The two clubs that really are close to the theaters: Comedy Village at 352 West 44th Street, a few minutes’ walk from the 44th and 45th Street theaters, and Broadway Comedy Club at 318 West 53rd Street, a 10 to 15 minute walk north. New York Comedy Club’s Midtown room on East 24th Street is a subway ride away, not a stroll.
- Best for a Broadway night: Comedy Village, then Broadway Comedy Club
- Best if you are staying in Midtown but free all night: head downtown to the Village for the full experience
- Prefer music to stand-up? Birdland at 315 West 44th Street, on the same stretch as Comedy Village, serves food during its jazz sets. See the jazz clubs NYC guide.
- Neighborhood reading: Theater District, Hell’s Kitchen, Times Square
Chelsea, Union Square and the East Village
This stretch holds Gotham (West 23rd), The Stand (East 16th) and its Chelsea Market room, New York Comedy Club (East 24th and East 4th) and UCB (East 14th). Union Square is the hub: the 14th Street station’s eight lines make it the easiest neighborhood in Manhattan to get home from late. See our Chelsea & Flatiron and Union Square guides. After a late Gotham set, Marquee and the West Chelsea clubs are about a 10-minute walk west; our NYC nightclubs guide covers entry and dress codes.
Comedy Clubs Brooklyn: Where to See Stand-Up Across the River
Brooklyn comedy is less “comedy club” and more “comedy night”: a lot of the best shows happen at music venues and bars with a back room. That is not a downgrade. You get alternative comics, live podcast tapings, storytelling and improv, often at lower prices. Pick by neighborhood so you are not crossing the borough twice.
The one full-time stand-up club of the bunch: about 120 seats, nightly shows plus open mics. Easiest pick if you are staying in Downtown Brooklyn. Shows →
A big, good-looking event hall that books comedy, live podcasts and concerts. Ticketed per event, often with well-known names.
Bocce and a library-style bar upstairs, comedy and music in the basement. A very Park Slope night.
Weekly comedy alongside music, podcasts and screenings. Check the calendar for the comedy nights.
Improv, sketch, stand-up and character work from a community theater and school. Shows →
The Chicago institution’s Brooklyn home, opened in 2024. Sketch revues and improv, close to the Bedford Ave L.
Staying in Williamsburg? Our Williamsburg guide covers where to eat and drink around the Bedford Avenue shows.
After a show at Brooklyn Comedy Collective, 3 Dollar Bill is close by in East Williamsburg, and House of Yes and Elsewhere are a few stops east on the L. See the nightclubs guide.
NYC Comedy Club Tickets: Prices, Drink Minimums & Booking Tips
The number on the ticket is the cover. It is not the cost of the night. Here is what usually gets added, and how each big club handles it.
Cover or ticket
Your seat, usually $10 to $30 for a club showcase. Weekends cost more. Named headliners cost a lot more.
Two-drink minimum
Two beverages per person, bought in the room. Gotham works this way. Nonalcoholic drinks usually count.
Two-item minimum
Comedy Cellar asks for two items each: food, a drink or a bottle of water.
Dollar minimum
New York Comedy Club sets a $20 showroom minimum per person, plus tax and an automatic 18% gratuity.
Fees, tax & tip
Online fees at checkout, NYC sales tax on food and drink, and a tip on the tab. These add up fast on cocktails.
Check-in & seating
Most clubs seat by arrival. Gotham, The Stand and NYCC all want you there about 30 minutes early.
Comedy Night Cost Calculator
Illustrative only. Plug in what you see on the show page.
Includes NYC sales tax of 8.875% on food and drink. Example only: a $25 ticket with two $12 drinks lands near $60 a person, more than double the ticket.
Booking rules that trip people up
- Ages differ by club. Comedy Cellar and The Stand are 21+. Gotham and New York Comedy Club admit 18+.
- Refunds are rare. Gotham and NYCC do not refund. GetYourGuide listings often allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; check the listing.
- Resale is a bad idea for club shows. The Stand will not honor third-party tickets, and most clubs sell direct.
- Lineups change. Unless a comic is billed as the headliner of your specific show, no one is guaranteed.
- Late shows can sit on the “wrong” date. At Comedy Cellar, an after-midnight show belongs to the day you picked.

Free and Cheap Comedy Shows in NYC: How to Spend Less
You can see great comedy here without paying weekend prices. The trick is knowing which “free” shows really are, and which just move the cost to the bar tab.
Free shows for students, military & Broadway ticketholders
New York Comedy Club runs select free Monday and Thursday shows for military members, active college students and people with recent Broadway tickets. The $20 showroom minimum still applies, and ID rules are on each ticket page.
New-material nights
Comics working out new jokes, priced to match. Comedy Cellar’s New Joke Night was $10 when we checked, the cheapest cover on its calendar.
Weeknight early shows
Monday to Wednesday covers run well below Friday and Saturday at most clubs, and the rooms are easier to get into.
Improv & indie theaters
UCB, Brooklyn Comedy Collective and other improv houses often price shows below club showcases, and many skip the drink minimum.
Bar shows & open mics
Often free or close to it, especially in Brooklyn. Quality varies wildly. A one-drink minimum is common.
Read the fine print
“Free” entry plus a two-drink minimum is still $25 to $35 a person in Manhattan. Compare total cost, not the ticket.
Plan Your Night: Early vs. Late, Dinner and Comedy After Broadway
Early or Late Comedy Show in NYC: Which Is Better?
Book early if you want dinner afterward, are new to the city, have kids at the hotel or an early flight. Early shows are easier to book and you are on the subway before the late crowds.
Late shows
Book late if you are eating first or coming from a show. Late rooms can feel looser, but a later slot does not mean a bigger lineup. Check whether the kitchen is still serving, and plan the ride home: the subway runs all night, but late-night service is less frequent.
Dinner and a Comedy Show in NYC: Easy Neighborhood Pairings
Take an early Comedy Cellar or Greenwich Village Comedy Club set, then eat on MacDougal Street afterward. The Cellar’s own restaurant upstairs, the Olive Tree Cafe, makes it easy; Minetta Tavern a few doors down is the splurge. Finish with a walk through Washington Square Park.
Dinner at The Stand’s taverna, then straight to your seat. Zero commute between courses and comics. More ideas in our date night restaurants guide.
Early dinner near Eighth Avenue, then a Gotham showcase on West 23rd. Arrive at the club 30 minutes before showtime, not at showtime.
Stay on one side of the borough: Atlantic Avenue dining before EastVille (see restaurants near Barclays Center), or Fifth Avenue in Park Slope before Union Hall or The Bell House.
Comedy Shows After Broadway: How to Plan a Late NYC Night
Comedy after a Broadway show is one of the best nights in the city, as long as you do the math. Most evening shows let out between about 9:30 and 11 PM depending on the running time, so check yours before you book a set.
- Stay in the neighborhood: Comedy Village on West 44th is a short walk from most theaters. Broadway Comedy Club on West 53rd is 10 to 15 minutes.
- Going to the Village? Allow 25 to 35 minutes door to door, then the 15 to 30 minute check-in window. Book a set at least an hour after your curtain comes down.
- Mind the date: after-midnight sets may be listed under the previous day.
- Eat smart: grab dinner before the show at one of our restaurants near Broadway, or use the comedy club’s food to cover your minimum.
Still need theater seats? Start with our last-minute Broadway tickets guide, browse every Broadway show, or read the first-timer guide. For the full dinner-plus-theater plan, see dinner and a show in NYC.
Stand-Up Comedy NYC, Improv or Sketch: Which Show Should You See?
Stand-up showcase
Five to eight comics doing short sets. The classic club night, and the best odds of a surprise drop-in. Cellar, Gotham, The Stand, NYCC.
Headliner show
One billed comedian doing a longer set, sometimes in a theater. Book this if one person is the reason you are going.
Long-form improv
A team builds a whole show from one suggestion. Unpredictable in the good way. UCB, Second City, Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
Sketch
Written, rehearsed scenes, often with costumes and music. Closer to theater than to a club night.
Live podcasts & storytelling
Tapings and true-story nights, a Brooklyn specialty. The Bell House, Littlefield.
Alt & experimental
Themed shows, character work and weirder ideas. Cheap, loose and sometimes the best thing you see all trip.

Headliner Comedy Tickets: Big-Name Comedians in NYC
When a famous comedian tours New York, the show usually moves out of the clubs and into theaters and arenas like the Beacon, Town Hall, Kings Theatre or Madison Square Garden. Those are dated events with real seat inventory, and that is where the ticket listings below help. They come from TicketNetwork, a resale marketplace, so prices can sit above face value. Compare before you buy, and use the clubs’ own sites for showcase nights.
New York Comedy Festival 2026
Ten days, more than 100 shows across the five boroughs, at venues including Town Hall, the Beacon Theatre and Kings Theatre. Announced names include Marc Maron, Ilana Glazer, Tim Dillon, Ms. Pat and Daniel Sloss. Official tickets are sold at nycomedyfestival.com.

NYC Comedy Shows: Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best comedy clubs in NYC?
It depends on the night you want. Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village is the classic pick for rotating stand-up lineups. Gotham Comedy Club in Chelsea feels more polished and showroom-style. The Stand near Union Square is the easiest dinner-and-comedy combination. For the Theater District, Comedy Village on West 44th Street and Broadway Comedy Club on West 53rd Street are the convenient choices. In Brooklyn, EastVille Comedy Club near Barclays Center runs nightly stand-up.
Where can I see a comedy show tonight in New York?
Open the booking calendars of the clubs closest to you. Comedy Cellar, Gotham, The Stand and New York Comedy Club all post upcoming shows on their own sites, and Comedy Village, Broadway Comedy Club and Greenwich Village Comedy Club sell same-week seats through GetYourGuide. Weeknight early shows are the easiest to book last minute. If the Cellar is sold out, its standby list is the real backup plan.
How much do NYC comedy club tickets cost?
Club showcase tickets usually run from about $10 to $30 before anything else is added, with weekend shows at the top of that range. Comedy Cellar, for example, posted covers from $10 for New Joke Night to $25 on Friday and Saturday when we checked in October 2026. Most clubs then add a drink or spending minimum, tax and gratuity, so plan on roughly double the ticket price per person. Named headliners in theaters cost far more.
Do NYC comedy clubs require two drinks?
Many do, but not all in the same way. Gotham Comedy Club requires two beverages per person. Comedy Cellar requires two items per person, and food or a bottle of water counts. New York Comedy Club uses a $20 showroom spending minimum instead, with tax and an 18% gratuity added. Always read the minimum on the specific show page before you book.
Are nonalcoholic drinks allowed toward minimums?
Usually, yes. Comedy Cellar counts food, drinks or a bottle of water toward its two-item minimum. Broadway Comedy Club’s GetYourGuide listing says alcohol is not required and nonalcoholic drinks are available. Sodas, mocktails and water generally count, but the price still applies, so check the venue’s policy if you are not drinking.
Do I need Comedy Cellar tickets in advance?
For weekends and prime evening shows, yes. Comedy Cellar tickets are reservations made on the club’s own website, and popular shows sell out. Reserved guests are seated first. If a show is full, you can try the standby list, but a seat is not guaranteed.
Can I get last-minute Comedy Cellar tickets?
Sometimes. Check the line-up page for open late shows and weeknights first. If your show is sold out, the standby list for the MacDougal Street room opens one hour before showtime, with sign-up around the corner on Minetta Lane. For Village Underground and Fat Black Pussycat, the list opens two hours before the show at the West 3rd Street entrance. Lists cap at roughly 20 to 30 names.
What is the difference between Comedy Cellar and Village Underground?
They are different rooms run by the same club. The original Comedy Cellar is the small basement room at 117 MacDougal Street. Village Underground is a larger room around the corner at 130 West 3rd Street, sharing the address with Fat Black Pussycat. You book a specific room, so check which one is on your reservation before you go.
Is Gotham Comedy Club worth visiting?
Yes, especially if you want a more polished, full-showroom feel than a tiny basement. Gotham is at 208 West 23rd Street in Chelsea. Plan for its two-beverage minimum, arrive 30 minutes early with photo ID and the card used to buy, and know that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Is The Stand good for dinner and comedy?
It is one of the best fits in the city for that. The Stand at 116 East 16th Street pairs a Northern Italian taverna with its comedy room, so you can eat and see the show in one stop. Book only through The Stand’s website or in person, because the club says it will not honor resale or third-party tickets.
Are there comedy clubs near Times Square?
Yes. Comedy Village at 352 West 44th Street sits on a Theater District block west of Eighth Avenue, and Broadway Comedy Club at 318 West 53rd Street is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the theaters. New York Comedy Club’s Midtown location is on East 24th Street, which is not near Times Square. Carolines on Broadway closed its Times Square club at the end of 2022.
Can I see comedy after a Broadway show?
Yes, if you book a late set and give yourself a buffer. Most evening Broadway shows end somewhere between about 9:30 and 11 PM depending on the show. A late set in the Theater District is the easy move. Heading downtown to the Village adds subway time, and many clubs want you checked in 15 to 30 minutes before showtime.
Where can I find comedy clubs in Greenwich Village?
Most of them are within a few blocks of Washington Square Park. Comedy Cellar is at 117 MacDougal Street, Village Underground and Fat Black Pussycat are at 130 West 3rd Street, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club is at 99 MacDougal Street. The West 4th Street subway station is the closest stop for all of them.
Are there good comedy clubs in Brooklyn?
Yes. EastVille Comedy Club at 487 Atlantic Avenue runs nightly stand-up near Barclays Center. The Bell House in Gowanus, Union Hall in Park Slope and Littlefield in Gowanus book comedy among other events. Brooklyn Comedy Collective in East Williamsburg and Second City New York in Williamsburg lean toward improv, sketch and newer voices.
Are there free comedy shows in NYC?
There are, but read the fine print. New York Comedy Club offers select free Monday and Thursday shows for military members, active college students and recent Broadway ticketholders, and its showroom minimum still applies. Bar shows and open mics are often free or nearly free to watch. Free entry rarely means a free night once drinks are involved.
Are weekday comedy shows cheaper?
Usually. Clubs price Monday through Thursday shows below Friday and Saturday shows, and weeknight early shows are easier to book. At Comedy Cellar, for example, the posted weekday cover was well below the weekend price when we checked in October 2026.
Do famous comedians surprise audiences at Comedy Cellar?
Well-known comedians do drop in at Comedy Cellar and other big Manhattan clubs, which is part of the draw. It is never guaranteed, and lineups change. If seeing one specific comedian matters, buy a ticket to a show where that person is billed as the headliner.
Should I book an early or late show?
Book early if you want dinner afterward, have an early morning or are new to the city. Book late if you are coming from dinner or a Broadway show and want a longer night. Late shows can feel looser, but a later time does not mean a bigger lineup.
Are NYC comedy clubs 21 and over?
Some are. Comedy Cellar and The Stand are 21 and over, with limited exceptions. Gotham admits guests 18 and over, and New York Comedy Club is 18 and over, or 16 and over with an adult at the club’s discretion. Bring a photo ID either way, and check the age rule on your specific show.
What happens if I’m late to a comedy show?
You can lose your seat. Gotham says tickets not redeemed by showtime may be resold. The Stand may release seats 15 minutes after the show starts. New York Comedy Club does not guarantee late seating. Aim to arrive 30 minutes before showtime.
Are comedy club tickets refundable?
Usually not. Gotham’s tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. New York Comedy Club does not offer refunds or exchanges, though you may be able to move to a future show if you tell the club in advance. GetYourGuide listings often allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before, so check the terms on the listing you book.
Can I buy comedy tickets through resale sites?
For club showcases, buy from the club or its official partner. The Stand says it will not honor resale or third-party tickets, and most clubs sell directly. Resale marketplaces make more sense for named comedians playing theaters and arenas, where tickets are dated events with real inventory.
Is there a dress code for comedy clubs?
Most NYC comedy clubs do not post a formal dress code, and smart-casual is normal. Gotham asks guests not to wear hats in the club. Front-row seats invite crowd work, so dress like someone who does not mind being noticed.
How long does a typical NYC comedy show last?
Most club showcases run about 90 minutes. Broadway Comedy Club’s GetYourGuide listing gives 1.5 hours and notes shows can run 10 minutes over. Add your arrival buffer and the time it takes to settle the check.
Can I combine dinner and comedy in one evening?
Yes, and it is one of the easiest nights to plan. Eat at The Stand before its show, take an early Comedy Cellar set and have dinner on MacDougal Street afterward, or book an early show in Chelsea and eat nearby. Keep dinner and the club in the same neighborhood so you are not racing the clock.
Is there live jazz near the comedy clubs in Greenwich Village?
Yes. Blue Note is at 131 West 3rd Street, around the corner from Comedy Cellar, and the Village Vanguard and Smalls are a short walk west. An early comedy set followed by a late jazz set, or the reverse, works without leaving the neighborhood. Our jazz clubs NYC guide covers set times, covers and seating.
Where can I go dancing after a comedy show in NYC?
Pick the club by where the comedy ends. From Gotham in Chelsea, Marquee and the West Chelsea clubs are about a 10-minute walk. From the Greenwich Village clubs, Le Bain at The Standard, High Line is a short cab ride or a longer walk northwest. From Comedy Village near Times Square, Nebula on West 41st Street is close by. In Brooklyn, 3 Dollar Bill, House of Yes and Elsewhere are along the L. Most club nights start around 11 PM, so a late comedy set lines up well. Our NYC nightclubs guide has entry and dress-code details.
