Tickets

Rod Wave Tickets at Barclays Center

Both Brooklyn shows are on sale, with a separate ticket listing for each night. The first show, Tuesday, October 27, went on sale in June. The second, Wednesday, October 28, was added on July 31. Two nights in the same building means two separate pools of seats, and that works in your favor.

The smart move is to check both dates before you commit. Same arena, same production, same opener, but the inventory and pricing can look very different from one night to the next. If you’re flexible, compare the same section on Tuesday and Wednesday before you buy.

Night One

Tuesday, October 27

The original Brooklyn date, on sale since June. It’s had the longest time to sell, so check this night first if you want floor or lower-bowl center.

Night Two

Wednesday, October 28

The added date. Added second shows can have more open inventory, so this is the first place to look if Tuesday’s seats aren’t working.

Presale is long over: the artist presale ran June 24–25, and general on-sale followed June 26. VIP packages and Platinum seats are sold through Rod Wave’s official site. Everything else now comes down to current inventory for each night, which you can check below.

New York

Rod Wave Concert in NYC

If you’re looking for the Rod Wave concert in New York, Barclays Center is it: two nights, October 27 and 28, 2026, and the only New York City stop on the tour. The arena sits at 620 Atlantic Avenue, where Flatbush meets Atlantic on the edge of Prospect Heights and Downtown Brooklyn.

For fans coming from Manhattan, that’s easier than it sounds. Nine subway lines stop under the arena, and the ride from Midtown is roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Coming in from Long Island, the LIRR’s Atlantic Terminal is across the street.

Weeknight reality check: these are Tuesday and Wednesday shows that can run close to midnight. Sort out your ride home before you leave, especially if you’re heading back to New Jersey or Long Island.
The Tour

Rod Wave Don’t Look Down Tour

The Don’t Look Down Tour is Rod Wave’s biggest headline run yet. It’s an arena tour across North America that opened September 12 in Philadelphia and wraps in Atlanta in mid-November. It’s built around Don’t Look Down, his seventh studio album, out August 28, 2026 on Alamo Records. The album opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was led by the single “Hustle.”

Brooklyn lands late in the run, right after Boston, which means the show will be locked in by the time it reaches Barclays. Reviews from earlier stops describe a real production: moving and raised stage pieces, fire, big lighting moments, and taped interludes that break the night into chapters. But the songs still carry the show. The best moments are the ones where a full arena sings every word of a Rod Wave hook back at him.

This page covers the Brooklyn dates only. For other cities, check the official tour listing.

Setlist

Rod Wave Setlist for the Don’t Look Down Tour

Nobody publishes the Barclays setlist ahead of time, and Rod Wave doesn’t play the same exact show every night. Early-tour sets ran long, from around 34 songs at New Orleans to a fuller, encore-included show on opening night in Philadelphia. Most nights mix the new album up front with a long run of the catalog songs fans came for.

Here’s what the setlist has looked like on early dates. It isn’t a promise for Brooklyn, but it’s a good guide to what you’ll hear:

We’ll update this section with what he actually played once the Brooklyn shows happen.

Timing

What Time Does Rod Wave Come On Stage?

The ticket says 8 p.m. That’s when the night starts, not when Rod Wave shows up. On earlier stops he took the stage somewhere between 10 and 10:45 p.m., after Fridayy’s set and a changeover. Barclays hasn’t posted set times for Brooklyn, so treat this as a planning window, not a schedule.

7:00
Doors openAn hour before the listed start. Security lines are usually longest right at doors and again just before 8.
8:00
Listed start timeExpect a slow fill. Rod Wave won’t be on yet, so you don’t need to be in your seat at 8.
~9:15
FridayyOn earlier dates, about a 35-minute set. Worth catching if you like his records.
10–10:45
Rod WaveThe headline window from earlier stops. Be in your seat by 9:45 so you don’t miss the open.
~12:00
Lights upSeveral tour stops ran past midnight. Plan your ride home around that.

Show Length

How Long Is a Rod Wave Concert?

Rod Wave’s own set has run about 1 hour 35 minutes to just under 2 hours on this tour, with opening night in Philadelphia at the long end. Add doors, the opener and changeovers, and the whole night is closer to four hours or more. On a Tuesday or Wednesday, that matters: eat before you go, and don’t plan an early train home.

Support

Who Is Opening for Rod Wave at Barclays Center?

Fridayy is the special guest, and Barclays Center lists him for both Brooklyn nights. He’s on the whole tour, and on earlier dates he played around 35 minutes. The Philadelphia-born singer and producer is known for melodic, gospel-tinged R&B. If you only know him from features, his set is a good reason to be in your seat before 9:30.

Prices

Rod Wave Ticket Prices

There’s no single price for a Rod Wave ticket. Prices move with demand and differ by night, section and how close it is to the show. We don’t post a “starting at” number because it can be wrong by the time you read it. Here’s how the tiers usually break down at Barclays:

🔥

Floor & Lower Center

The most expensive seats. Closest to the stage and the most crowd energy.

🎯

Lower Bowl Sides

The middle tier. You’re slightly off-angle but still close, and usually the best balance of view and price.

🌊

Upper Bowl

The cheapest way in. The front rows near center still give you the full production, lights and fire included.

A few things that actually move the price: Tuesday and Wednesday can price differently, so check both. Arena prices often shift in the last week as people resell. And very cheap seats tucked around the side of the stage usually come with a limited view, so check the section before you buy.

Seats

Best Seats for Rod Wave at Barclays Center

Arena tours like this usually play Barclays with the stage at one end, so think about two things: how centered you are, and how high you want to be. Rod Wave’s production uses raised and moving stage pieces, so a little elevation can actually help.

WhereBest forTradeoff
FloorBeing close and in the loudest part of the crowdFlat floor, so a tall crowd in front can block your view
Lower bowl, centerThe best all-around view and soundThe most expensive bowl seats

Barclays Center Floor Seats for Rod Wave

The floor is as close as you can get, and when “Street Runner” or “Tombstone” hits, it’s where the room is loudest. The catch is that the floor is flat. Unless you’re near the front, you’re watching between people’s shoulders. Floor setups also change from tour to tour, seated or standing, so check what your listing says before you buy. If you’re on the shorter side, a front lower-bowl seat often beats a mid-floor ticket.

For sections, rows and views from specific seats, see the full Barclays Center seating guide.

Age Policy

Is There an Age Limit for the Rod Wave Concert?

There’s no minimum age at Barclays Center for most shows, and the Rod Wave event page doesn’t list one. The arena’s rules: anyone who has turned 2 needs their own ticket, children under 2 can sit on an adult’s lap, and guests under 18 are strongly encouraged to come with a parent or guardian.

Whether you should bring a kid is a different question. Rod Wave’s music is explicit and deals with heavy, adult themes. It’s also a school-night show where the headliner may not start until after 10 and the night can end near midnight. For teens who know every song, it can be a great first arena concert. For younger kids, it’s a tough night.
