NYC Broadway Week Fall 2026: 2-for-1 Tickets to 25 Shows
Twice a year, Broadway drops its prices in half for two weeks — this fall’s window runs September 8 through 20, and tickets are already on sale. Here’s exactly how it works, the full list of participating shows, and which ones to book first.
NYC Broadway Week is exactly what it sounds like, minus the “week” part — a two-week stretch, twice a year, where roughly two dozen Broadway shows drop their ticket prices to two-for-one. Run by NYC Tourism + Conventions in partnership with The Broadway League since 2011, it’s sold more than 3 million tickets and generated over $222 million in Broadway box office revenue. This fall’s edition covers performances from September 8 through September 20, 2026, and tickets have been on sale since August 18.
This isn’t a rush ticket or a lottery — it’s a real, planned discount you can book in advance, pick your own seats within eligible sections, and know exactly what you’re getting before you show up.

How the Broadway Week Discount Actually Works
Buy two or more tickets to a participating show, and the promotion knocks the price down so you’re effectively paying for roughly one ticket across two seats — a 50% discount per ticket when purchased in pairs. Most shows extend the same rate to a third or fourth ticket too, and most orders cap out around 8 tickets. Not every seat in the house is included — only sections specifically flagged as Broadway Week-eligible — so the discount applies to real, decent seats, not just the worst ones in the building.
Important: Broadway Week tickets are subject to availability, and blackout dates may apply. Promotional inventory can vary by show, performance date, and seating section.
Not every participating show has Broadway Week seats available on every date in the window — high-demand shows and weekend performances tend to sell through their allocation fastest. Buy through the official Broadway Week site or the show’s official ticketing partner directly; the code doesn’t work on resale or third-party marketplaces, and using an unofficial site to “find” Broadway Week pricing is usually just a markup dressed up as a deal.

Which Shows to Prioritize
With 25 shows and limited eligible seats per performance, it’s worth being strategic about which ones you chase first.
Wicked, Hadestown, The Lion King
The long-running blockbusters are exactly the shows that don’t need to discount — which means when they do, demand for the eligible seats is intense. If one of these is on your list, book in the first few days.
Maybe Happy Ending, Schmigadoon!
Both reigning Best Musical Tony winners (2025 and 2026), both genuinely acclaimed, both worth full price — getting them at half off is one of the better trades in this entire list.
School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play, The Rocky Horror Show, Titaníque
First-time Broadway Week participants, which means less competition for eligible seats than the shows that discount every season. Good odds of actually landing the dates you want.
Oh, Mary!, Operation Mincemeat, Titaníque
If the goal is a fun, low-stakes night rather than a prestige pick, these three are reliably the funniest rooms on this list.
