A lost young man arrives at a church looking for shelter. Inside, two altar boys — Julian and Paul — are already trying to hold onto each other while everything around them shifts. Their faiths, their bodies, their understanding of who they are and what they owe to each other: all of it is in motion, and the stranger’s arrival accelerates something that was already underway.
